Back in old Gondolin, Penlodh somehow managed to take control of two Houses, the Pillar and Tower of Snow, which he chose to believe owed more to the symbolism of height than the ineffectual power granted to either of them. It was a grand enough old life (wasn't it?) until the pressing needs of traitors certain numbers of Balrogs saw fit to draw it all to a close.
Now, Penlodh seems to have ended up with (what he treats as) equally ineffectual levels of power (but perhaps you'd disagree if you needed to actually build anything) but things move swimmingly as long as the drink does. When it doesn't, oh do, do find other manner of company. It's for your own best interest (but perhaps not his), really. |
